Belgium, known as the heart of Europe, has for centuries been a crossroads for the Roman and Germanic cultures, as evidenced by the three languages (Flemish, French and German) spoken within its borders. Its location - just a train ride away from France, Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and England - provides the opportunity for even more travel and discovery. Brussels, home to the headquarters of both the European Union and NATO, is a beautiful and interesting place to spend a summer. Belgium is a fun, laid-back, and even quirky country, and we invite you to come discover all that it has to offer. To ensure a valuable and enriching experience, all applicants are strongly encouraged to have completed one year French at Yale (or the equivalent).
Summer 2009 internship opportunities will be viewable in early January.
